Overview
NearBuy was born from the idea of the fear-of-missing-out (FOMO) on good deals on store promotions and discounts in your proximity.
The story was, that: it was my birthday and I just got home from dining out with my friends. It was already nearly 11PM. One of my housemates greeted me and told me “Were you able to avail the birthday promo from Tim Horton’s and Starbucks?”
I was in shock and regret because I could have gotten many promos, but it didn’t even occur to me that there were things like that.

The design team chose a combination of Purple, Blue, and Green to have a fresh approach to a unique e-commerce application. With this combination, our users will be easily guided via the combination of easy-going colors that graces each screen of NearBuy.

The design team chose Montserrat and Raleway as the typeface combination for NearBuy as both fonts are easily legible and accessible for any online shopper for any environment they are in.
